Art Deco Inspired Hotel Beaumont

Hotel BeaumontThe building of the new boutique hotel Beaumont in London is a Grade II listed Art Deco property, previously occupied by Avis Rent-A-Car. Hence the interior style of the hotel is all inspired by Art Deco. So, if you like ‘new old’ and classic styles, you would enjoy The Beaumont.

The atmosphere already in the lobby is old world , with dim lighting. Actually, the lighting is very beautiful and one of the best details of the interiors. There is also a lot of art in hotel e.g. from Antony Gormley.

The hotel is situated in Mayfair, one block away from Oxford street and Selfridge’s department store. (In fact you can imagine Mr. Selfridge himself could walk in any moment).

Every detail of the interior is so carefully chosen that, it feels like the time has stopped and you have entered a film set into the Art Deco period.

The American bar looks to be very busy. The hotel opened in September 2014 and was refurbished by ReardonSmith Architects.
