World-renowned urban artist, propagandist and provocateur Shepard Fairey is staging a second solo exhibition in London. He first became known for the 2008 Obama ‘Hope’ poster which became a symbol of political change.
His unique style of mixed media uses canvas, collage and cuts to show the political and social, particularly musical, influences. The exhibition demonstrated a very strong body of work with a highly recognisable style.
Finally only in September 2012 Shepard Fairey was fined and sentenced to probation in ‘Hope’ poster copyright case.
